This collection features modular lava stone tiles, each adorned with intricate three-dimensional patterns, designed for versatile compositions. Inspired by a hidden house-museum of a majolica collector tucked inside an 18th-century building in Palermo’s historic center, the design reflects the Mediterranean spirit. Crafted by Lithea’s master artisans, the tiles—rectangular, small-scale bas-reliefs—evoke fluted columns, rustic dry stone walls, quarry-hewn blocks, and Renaissance-style diamond-point masonry. Their sculptural surfaces create dramatic chiaroscuro effects, recalling the rich textures and light play of Baroque art.
