This is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Caltagirone majolica, blending traditional design elements with modern abstraction through the use of pitchstone. The rectangular panel features delicate, flowing lines that radiate from a central point, forming a stylized face and bordered by the classic Sicilian floral frieze. The result is a bold, all-black figurative composition enhanced by copper leaf accents that highlight certain areas, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication.
