This modular wall cladding is crafted by assembling uniquely shaped tiles, each featuring an irregular outline. When put together, they evoke the flowing curves seen on the traditional rooftops of dammusi houses. The surface alternates between smooth, concave sections and textured grooves that mirror the neatly planted rows of Pantelleria’s vineyards. Inspired by the resilient Zibibbo vine — cultivated in sheltered hollows to withstand the island’s strong winds — this design pays homage to Pantelleria’s enduring agricultural traditions. Using identical modules, the system allows for endless combinations, creating a seamless, continuous visual effect without disruption.
